1kb DNA Ladder
The 1.0kb DNA ladder is a ready-to-use preparation that consists of 19 DNA fragments ranging from 100bp to 10kb (Figure 1). The recommended loading is 5μl DNA marker per lane. The 1.0kb ladder can be used for approximating the mass of DNA in comparably intense samples of similar size.

The 500bp ladder cannot be used for precise quantification of DNA mass, but can be used for approximating the mass of DNA in comparably intense samples of similar size.
